Pomar do Espírito Santo Reserva Collector
The mystery and charm of Cheleiros are added to its fertile properties and extraordinary minerality of the land, which give rise to this intense, complex and elegant reserve. An amazing red wine, prepared with the Portuguese grapes Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Castelão and with a one-year ageing in French oak barrels with American top.
Grapes: Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Castelão.
Winemaker As: Ricardo Noronha.
Process: Total destemming, fermentation for 8 days, in stainless steel, with temperature control. Post-fermentative macerated. 12 months maturation in new French and American oak barrels. Stage 6 months in bottle.
Flavor: Delicate and complex. The elegant fruity flavor, of cassis, blends harmoniously with the spicy flavors that add aromatic complexity.
Palate: A bold and structured wine, with amazing flavors. The balance between the great acidity, the tannins and sweetness given by the 14,5% alcohol and the new oak barrel stage makes this wine a wine that will blow your mind and age very well.
Gastronomy: Recommended in the accompaniment of cheeses and meat dishes, in general, especially baked.
Serve at temperature: 16ºC – 18ºC.
