Desde a cor, ao cheiro, ao paladar…este vinho é incrível! Fiquei apaixonada. Frutas pretas, madeira, chocolate, sabor meio amanteigado. Taninos marcantes e acidez na medida certa. É tudo de bom!

André Manz started to make wine just for his own personal consumption and this was the first red wine made at ManzWine. One of the most iconic wines from our project, made exclusively according to André Manz’s personal preferences, it is a wine that shows structure and body, combined with freshness.

Only with Portuguese indigenous red grapes, this is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Aragonês and Castelão, that later stages for 12 months partially in French, American and some Hungarian oak barrels.

A wine that is elegant, clearly tailored and handcrafted to suit a demanding palate. Pair this with cheese and any tomato-based food if you are aiming for perfection or with any type of red meat if you want pure satisfaction! You can’t go wrong with this versatile and high-quality wine!

A true flagship of ManzWine, a statement by André Manz!
Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Castelão.
Winemaker As: Ricardo Noronha.
Soil: Clay-limestone.
Climate: Atlantic.
Process: Total destemming, fermentation for 8 days, in stainless steel, with temperature control. Post-fermentative macerated. 12 months maturation in French and American oak barrels of 30% of the wine, and the remaining 70% aged in stainless steel vats. Stage 6 months in bottle.
Color: Ruby.
Flavor: Delicate and complex. The elegant fruity flavor, of cassis, blends harmoniously with the spicy flavors that add aromatic complexity.
Palate: Captivating harmony between structure, unctuosity and flavors. Good acidity gives freshness and induces longevity. The tannins, elegant and well present, makes the tasting feel like a dialogue.
Gastronomy: Recommended in the accompaniment of cheeses and meat dishes, in general, especially baked.
Serve at temperature: 16ºC – 18ºC.
